Recipes are not just ingredients scribbled down on paper...
They are transmissions of wisdom from our ancestors.
They are echoes that recall past meals.
They are slumbering memories stirred by scent.
They tell stories of people from a certain place and time.
They preserve culture across lands.

And they are infused with 손맛 (son-mat),
a Korean saying for "the taste of a mother's hand".
